Instead of going through the remote update process you can send filter objects to all computers in a group. To accomplish this simply right-click the desired group and choose Update Filters in Group.
The remote update process will start automatically and will update only the filter settings for the selected group.
Important notes for local and global filters: Filters from the Local Filters are never sent to remote hosts, whereas filters from the Global Filters are always sent to remote host, regardless of the group you select for remote update.
