Built-In Event Log Viewer
EventSentry comes with a simplified built-in event log viewer. The event log viewer is not meant to compete with the Windows event log viewer. Instead, it gives you quick access to the event logs without opening another application.
The following special features are available:
| • | Automatically include or exclude events just by right clicking them |
| • | Immediately see what time period an event log spans and how many unique sources are present |
| • | Automatically hide empty columns such as category and computer |
| • | View the frequency of an event log record (see how often a similar event record appears in the event log) |
| • | View up to 5 remote event logs at the same time |

The EventSentry GUI can be minimized to the tray notification area so that access to all functions of EventSentry is easier than ever!
Cut, Copy & Paste; Drag & Drop
You can cut, copy & paste filter and target objects as well as drag & drop filter objects to make administering and configuring EventSentry even easier. Computer objects can also be cut and paste (not copied).
Import / Export Configuration
You can export the complete EventSentry configuration into a single file and then import the configuration on other computers.
"Smart" Usability Features
We tried to make this application as easy to use as possible for you by adding smart features.
| • | Columns in the built-in event log viewer that are empty across the entire screen are automatically hidden |
| • | The built-in feedback forms enable you to send us feedback & bug reports with ease (outgoing SMTP or HTTP required) |
| • | The window size, window position and expansion state of the tree in the left pane are remembered. When you close and reopen the application you will find it in exactly the same state as you did when you last closed it |
