IP Address Monitoring

The service will contact the web page specified in "General Options" according to this setting. You can set the range to minutes, hours and days.

You can customize both the subject and the body of emails sent when the IP address has changed.

Email Subject

The subject of the email when the IP address changes, you can use the $IP variable which will be replaced with the current WAN IP address.

Email Body

The body of the email when the IP address changes. You can use the $HOSTNAME (contains computer name), $IPOLD (the IP address before the change) and $IP (the new IP address) variables.

Please note that the minimum interval when using our server (www.netikus.net/show_ip.html) are 5 minutes. For all other servers (web pages) the minimum is once every minute.

Regular Notification

As a safeguard you can receive an email containing the IP address of the gateway whether or not the IP address changes.
