Configure Custom Notifications to launch a custom application and/or write the IP address to a log file.

 

Process Notification

Launches an application whenever the IP address changes.

 

Append IP address to log file

Appends the new IP address to a log file. The following information will be written to the file:

 

[27.02.2003 12:46:52 PM] 216.92.199.161

where 216.92.199.161 is the actual IP address.

 

Start this program

Specify any application when the IP address changes. Include the full path in case the file is not included in the default search path. The variable $IP will be replaced with the new IP address.

 

Enable Process Notification

Check/clear this check box to enable/disable the custom process notification.

 

Log File

The text file where the IP address will be appended to.

 

Enable IP Log File

Check/clear this check box to enable/disable this feature.
