With the Manage Agents feature you can control and modify the EventSentry status on remote computers. The following actions can be performed:
| • | Install the service (includes copying necessary files) |
| • | Update the service executable on remote computers (restarts the service if necessary) |
| • | Uninstall the service (including files and configuration) |
| • | Start the service on remote computers |
| • | Stop the service on remote computers |
| • | Disable the EventwatchNT service on remote computers |
| • | Uninstall EventwatchNT from remote computers (stops the service if necessary) |
To perform actions on agents, right-click the computer object of the desired group and select the "Manage Agent(s)" menu:
After you choose the desired action (e.g. Install) click OK to perform the action. You will see a screen output similar to the one shown below:
The computer goat has a red icon because the service is not yet started. The computer hippo already has the EventSentry service installed. To update the service you will have to choose the option Update from the drop-down list.
